Making our dreams a reality was exactly what Andy and his team did for our little family. We moved to Texas from South Louisiana and wanted a home that showcased our love of the southern plantations and creole cottages. Deep screened porches, pine floors, Bahama shutters and very tall ceilings. Dreams 2 Reality is a very fitting name for Andy Dean’s company as he made our dream a reality. We had given up hope in finding a builder that could build a plan we had designed at an affordable price. In fact, we were going to settle for a second best home with a second best custom home builder until we were referred to Andy.

Having never built a new home before and after hearing horror stories from other people who had built, my husband and I were concerned about finding a custom home builder that would meet all of our requirements. We not only wanted a builder with experience but one who was honest, one who would listen to our ideas and one who would give us good advice.

A friend of ours knew Andy and set up a meeting. After the first ten minutes of our four hour meeting, we knew that we had found a builder that we could both trust and work with. We both left the meeting feeling really excited about building our new home.

For thirty-one years, I had built our home in my mind and collected, in a stuffed folder, ideas and things that I wanted in our home. During the first meeting, I provided Andy the house plans, paint colors, floor samples, cabinet type and appliances that we wanted. Andy gave us a ball park figure on the cost of the house. Throughout the building process, we stayed pretty close to our budget. If we went over, it was because we chose to. There were no “hidden cost” surprises.

My husband and I met and dealt w/ Andy Dean from the very beginning when we first decided we wanted to build a house for ourselves. A year later, when we finally sold our house, had some plans drawn up, and moved closer to our property, we still ended up picking Andy over the other custom home builders. He was great from the first time Don made contact with him, even when he didn’t know if we were going to use him or not.

We had no major issues at all throughout the whole process. We did change our minds about a few things, but Andy was always very accommodating.
