 Take a peek at Pecan Acres, a home built new but intended to look old. This home was built in an area full of homes with historical significance to the town, some even dating back to the 1800s. In an effort to preserve the historical charm of the neighborhood, local guidelines at the time of this build specifically requested that all newly built houses maintain a traditional feel that blends with the older homes surrounding them.

Dreams 2 Reality stepped up to the challenge and delivered a beautifully crafted custom home that still keeps new observers guessing whether or not it's one of the area's historical homes to this day. Both inside and out, we included design and materials that are an ode to the look of homes built many years before us. If you look close, you'll even find special materials that were salvaged from a true 1800s home on the property, like an old sink, clawfoot tub, a stained glass window, door knobs used for coat hangers and even a full door.
